On Sunday, Delhi Police arrested two interstate criminals in connection with an armed robbery that took place at a Delhivery logistics branch in Dwarka Sector 19 on April 29. The accused, identified as Harmeet (31) and Yogesh (30), both residents of Rohtak, Haryana, were apprehended from Jharoda Kalan, Delhi.
According to police officials, the robbers were involved in looting around Rs2 lakh in cash and a DVR from the delivery office at gunpoint. The trio of criminals had fled the scene on a motorcycle stolen a night earlier from Bahadurgarh, Haryana.
During the arrest, police recovered ₹54,500 in stolen cash, mobile phones, and the clothing the suspects wore during the crime. Efforts are ongoing to trace the third accomplice who is currently absconding.
