BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A convicted felon is in custody after a traffic stop led authorities to uncover a string of burglaries across Bossier Parish.
On July 16, deputies with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office (BPSO) pulled over Hadrekus Baily, during which they allegedly discovered stolen property inside his vehicle. Further investigation connected Baily to multiple burglaries that had taken place in the days prior.
Detectives say stolen items were recovered from five separate locations, including a garage, a shed, and a vehicle. Some of the property belonged to a Bossier Sheriff’s Office employee. Baily later confessed to involvement in several of the break-ins.
He was booked into Bossier Max on the following pending charges:
Theft – Package Theft
Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
Simple Burglary – Theft of a Motor Vehicle
No bond has been set. Sheriff Julian Whittington stated the investigation remains active and more charges may be forthcoming.
