
WILMINGTON, N.C. — A months-long narcotics investigation led to the arrest of Guy Braxton Williams in Wilmington on August 19, with authorities seizing a large cache of drugs, weapons, and other illegal items from his home.
The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO) reported that its Vice & Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on McClammy Street, where they found:
Over 2,100 pressed fentanyl pills
394 MDMA pills
167 grams (approximately 6 ounces) of cocaine
Marijuana
Four handguns
Two rifles
One stolen dirt bike
Williams now faces multiple felony charges, including:
Two counts of Trafficking Opium/Heroin
Two counts of Trafficking MDMA
Two counts of Trafficking Cocaine
Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Additional narcotics-related charges
He is currently being held in the New Hanover County Detention Facility under a $1.5 million bond.
