Gurugram Police Arrest Trio for Theft and Burglary with Weapons

Three Men Arrested for Robbery Attempts, Prior Theft Cases Uncovered

In a significant move, the Gurugram Police arrested three men planning a robbery at gunpoint near Leisure Valley Park in Sector 29. The police recovered an illegal pistol, a cartridge, a knife, an iron rod, and a torch from the suspects.

The Sector 43 Crime Unit was tipped off on Tuesday that three armed individuals were trying to commit a robbery. They quickly raided the location and detained the suspects before they could carry out their plans.

The suspects were identified as Raj Mohammad, Vishnu Sharma, and Anand Kumar, all from Bihar—Raj Mohammad and Vishnu Sharma from Motihari district, and Anand Kumar from Rohtash district. The police have filed an FIR against them at the Sector 29 Police Station.

In their confession, the trio admitted to committing four previous burglaries in Gurugram. Raj Mohammad was found to be involved in 11 thefts and illegal weapon cases, while Anand Kumar has seven similar cases registered against him in Faridabad. The police are continuing their interrogation to uncover more details about their criminal activities.

This arrest underscores the Gurugram Police’s determination to tackle street crimes and prevent further thefts and burglaries in the region.
