Gurugram Police have arrested Santosh Tiwari, the main suspect in the killing of delivery worker Faisal Idrisi, officials confirmed. Tiwari allegedly murdered Idrisi during a dispute over a debt of Rs 15,000.
According to police, Tiwari and Idrisi, both from Uttar Pradesh, became acquaintances while working at the same delivery service in Gurugram. The two often consumed alcohol together, and a financial disagreement is believed to have sparked the deadly confrontation.
Police say Tiwari killed Idrisi and left the scene with the victim’s mobile phone and motorcycle. Authorities are still working to recover these items as the investigation continues.
