Shahkot police have arrested four men on charges of murder after the death of a local resident following a violent attack.
The accused have been identified as:
Gurpreet Singh
Abhishek Gharu
Anmol Preet Singh
(All from Kangana village)
Vishal, a resident of Eesewal village
The group allegedly attacked Karandeep, also of Kangana village, on July 29, using sharp-edged weapons with the intent to murder. Karandeep was seriously injured in the assault and succumbed to his injuries on August 6.
Police have recovered the weapons used in the attack, and all four accused are now in custody. A murder case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
