Seven more persons have been arrested by the police in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Kurra Naga Ganesh from Yendavuru village, Amartalur mandal, Bapatla district. The incident occurred on October 7.

Kurra Naga Ganesh had married Keerthi Veeranjaneya Devi out of love, but Keerthi’s family strongly opposed the union. The victim’s brother-in-law, Durga Rao, allegedly conspired to kill Naga Ganesh due to the family feud.

After the attack, Naga Ganesh was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Following the incident, the police registered a case and launched an investigation. This led to the arrest of seven accused who were involved in the conspiracy and assault.

The main accused, Durga Rao, surrendered to the police earlier and was remanded to judicial custody on October 9. The investigation continues as authorities work to bring all involved to justice.
