Authorities identified the suspects as Gregory Jones, 49, and Kelvin Watson, 48, both of Dayton. Each has been charged with drug possession.
Investigators said a large quantity of narcotics was seized Monday during the execution of a search warrant and a traffic stop at a residence in the 1500 block of Jackson Pike in Green Township.
Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin said additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues. He also encouraged the public to share information related to criminal activity by contacting the sheriff’s tip line at 740-446-6555.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and the suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
