Greenville, MS — The Greenville Police Department arrested two men on Wednesday in connection with suspected copper thefts following a traffic investigation on South Washington Avenue.
Bryan Bridges, 40, of Anguilla, and Julio Ortiz, 27, of Greenville, were charged with possession of burglary tools along with several misdemeanor offenses.
Officers responded to the 700 block of South Washington Avenue after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, they found Bridges and Ortiz inside the vehicle with burglary tools in their possession.
Both men are being held pending their initial appearances before a judge.
