GREENVILLE, N.C. — Greenville police arrested Chico Haddock, 30, the night manager at the Greenville IHOP, for conspiring with William Brown in the robbery of the Evans Street restaurant last month.
Authorities said Brown, 32, a former IHOP employee, was arrested Monday in connection with the June 16 robbery. Warrants reveal Haddock helped Brown by opening the restaurant’s safe and handing over the money inside.
Haddock faces multiple charges, including common law robbery, two counts of felony conspiracy, embezzlement of less than $100,000, and larceny by an employee. He was taken to Pitt County Jail and held on a $125,000 bond.
Brown was charged with common law robbery and felony conspiracy and is held on a $50,000 bond.
