Sierra Blair Stewart, 34, a Greensboro woman with a history of criminal activity across the Southeast, was arrested in Lexington County, South Carolina, on multiple charges, including identity theft and forgery. She faces three counts of forgery for amounts of $10,000 or more, one count of presenting an altered vehicle registration, and charges for obtaining goods under false pretenses and financial identity fraud.

According to officials, Stewart used a fake cashier’s check and someone else’s identity to purchase a vehicle for more than $17,000 from a South Carolina dealership on February 3. She then attempted to use a fraudulent check for over $42,000 on February 8 at another dealership, which led to the involvement of the Sheriff’s Department.

Stewart is also wanted for similar charges in North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. In addition to the charges in South Carolina, she is wanted by the Graham Police Department in North Carolina for a fraud incident involving the Westgate Triad Mitsubishi dealership. Authorities also report that Stewart stole a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Stewart is currently being held at the Lexington County Detention Center as authorities continue their investigation into her activities across multiple states.
