Grandfather Sarman Held for Killing 8-Year-Old Mukesh

Chakara Village in Shock After Child's Body Found in Haystack

In a deeply disturbing incident, a 50-year-old man named Sarman has been arrested in Chakara village for allegedly murdering his eight-year-old grandson, Mukesh. The arrest came after Mukesh was reported missing, prompting a police-led search operation in the area.

According to local authorities, Sarman confessed during interrogation that he strangled the boy in a fit of rage, suspecting him of theft. The situation escalated when Mukesh’s body was found hidden in a haystack within the family’s premises.

Sarman has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police officials stated that further investigation is ongoing and have urged the public to come forward with any relevant information. The incident has left the quiet rural community in shock.
