Hyderabad Police have arrested Gogula Lakshmi Vijaya Kumar, director of AV Infracon Private Limited and AV Organo Farms Private Limited, in connection with a massive Rs 8 crore investment scam.
According to officials, Vijaya Kumar, a resident of Vijayawada, enticed the public with attractive investment plans featuring buyback offers and pre-launch schemes, promising hefty returns. To build trust, he allegedly executed sale agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), making the fraudulent transactions appear legitimate.
The accused’s tactics duped numerous investors, resulting in significant financial losses. The police have launched further investigations into the scope of the scam and possible accomplices.
