Gloria Casarin-Dominguez Charged with Identity Fraud in Newberry County

Woman accused of using stolen ID and SSN for employment

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — A Newberry County woman has been charged with identity fraud and forgery after allegedly using stolen personal information to obtain employment.

According to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), Gloria Casarin-Dominguez, 29, used a fraudulent Social Security number and South Carolina ID on April 25, 2022, to secure a job.

Authorities state the documents were created using the victim’s personal information without permission.

Casarin-Dominguez was arrested on June 17, 2025, and is currently held at the Newberry County Detention Center.

The investigation remains ongoing.
