GLEN BURNIE, Md. – A routine traffic stop on January 9, 2025, led to the arrest of 32-year-old Dontrell Travon Milner from Glen Burnie on multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute narcotics and second-degree assault on law enforcement officers.
The incident began when detectives pulled over Milner’s white Toyota Corolla for failing to stop at a posted stop sign. Milner’s suspicious behavior—particularly movements toward the center console—prompted officers to question him. Upon further investigation, Milner admitted to possessing a scale for weighing cannabis, which tested positive for cocaine residue.
A K9 scan of the vehicle revealed additional narcotics hidden under Milner’s clothing. When officers attempted to seize the drugs, Milner resisted, assaulting one detective and attempting to destroy evidence by flushing it down a toilet. Investigators recovered 45 bags of suspected crack cocaine, weighing approximately 29.58 grams, along with $958 in cash.
Milner now faces numerous charges, including drug trafficking, resisting arrest, and assaulting law enforcement. After a court appearance on January 10, 2025, he was ordered held without bond and is set for a preliminary hearing on February 5, 2025, at Annapolis District Court.
