Glasgow Man Arrested with Stolen Vehicle in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — A Glasgow man was arrested on Wednesday morning after he was found in possession of a stolen vehicle on Pyle Lane in Hopkinsville.

According to Hopkinsville Police, city surveillance cameras alerted officers to the presence of the stolen truck in the area. When police arrived, they located 30-year-old Anthony Boyd and the vehicle on Pyle Lane.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered that the vehicle identification number (VIN) on the truck had been altered or removed. Additionally, the Tennessee license plate on the truck had also been reported as stolen.

Boyd was arrested and charged with obscuring the identity of a machine, receiving stolen property, theft of a motor vehicle registration plate, and resisting arrest.

His arrest marks the latest incident in Hopkinsville involving the theft of vehicles and vehicle-related property. Authorities continue to investigate the matter as Boyd faces charges in connection to the stolen truck.
