MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. (AZFamily) — Two Arizona men are facing numerous felony charges after being accused of stealing merchandise from hardware stores and reselling it on Facebook Marketplace.

According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, 29-year-old German Juarez Espinoza and 23-year-old Jacinto Juarez Espinoza allegedly stole tools and air conditioning units from various Home Depot locations across Maricopa County between March and June 2025.

Investigators say the brothers bypassed checkout lines and used fake receipts to leave the stores undetected. Several of the stolen items later appeared for sale on Facebook Marketplace, authorities said.

German Juarez Espinoza faces 17 felony charges, including organized retail theft, trafficking in stolen property, and fraudulent schemes and artifices. Jacinto Juarez Espinoza faces similar charges, with one fewer count of organized retail theft.

German’s trial is set for December, while Jacinto’s trial is scheduled for November 2025.

Authorities have not released the total value of the stolen goods. Booking photos were not immediately available.
