SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A man was arrested in Shreveport after being found with suspected methamphetamine, a firearm, and a stolen motorcycle, according to police.
Shreveport Police officers took 39-year-old George Pruett into custody in the 8100 block of Mansfield Road. Investigators say he was in possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, which he attempted to conceal internally.
Officers safely recovered the narcotics and submitted them into evidence.
Pruett faces several charges, including:
Possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance
Possession of a Schedule II narcotic
Possession of stolen property (motorcycle)
Introduction of contraband into a penal institution
Outstanding warrant for theft
Parole violation
Pruett was booked into Shreveport City Jail, and as of now, no bond has been set.
