Garland Miller, 45, of Branchville, Indiana, was arrested and charged with dealing methamphetamine following a traffic stop in Crawford County. On Friday night at around 9:03 p.m., an Indiana State Police trooper pulled over Miller’s Dodge Durango on State Road 145 near Eckerty for a headlight violation.
During the stop, officers noticed signs of possible criminal activity and called in a K-9 unit. The police dog positively alerted to the presence of narcotics, prompting a search of the vehicle.
Authorities found approximately 19 grams of suspected methamphetamine in two separate bags, along with another bag containing suspected marijuana. Miller was charged with multiple offenses, including dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, dealing marijuana, and possession of marijuana.
Following his arrest, Garland Miller was taken to Crawford County Jail, where he remains in custody pending further legal action.
