The Pune City Crime Branch (Unit IV) arrested three men for robbing a jewellery store in Sainathnagar, Wadgaon Sheri, at gunpoint. The accused stole gold earrings worth Rs30,000 after threatening the store owner with a firearm and a sharp weapon.
Senior Inspector Ajay Waghmare said the suspects were traced and arrested from Indiranagar in Gultekdi after police analyzed CCTV footage and acted on a tip-off.

All are residents of Upper Indiranagar, Gultekdi.
Investigations revealed that Lagas had conducted a recce of the jewellery store run by Rajendrasingh Vikramsingh Deoda (20). He convinced his friends to help him commit the robbery for quick money.
According to CCTV analysis:
Lagas drove the scooter, while the other two were pillion riders during the crime.
The scooter used in the heist has been seized.
The robbery took place when the trio entered the shop and demanded jewellery at gunpoint. Inspector Seema Dhakane from Chandannagar Police noted that Deoda fought back, using a stool to attack the robbers and raise an alarm. However, the robbers managed to flee with two earrings before a commotion broke out.
An FIR has been registered, and the suspects were handed over to Chandannagar police for further action.
