Gadag Police have uncovered an illegal operation involving the creation of fake identification documents at a local photo studio. Acting on reliable information, a special team from the Betgeri Extension Police Station raided Kabadi Editing Photo Studio located at Hatalgeri Naka.

During the raid, officers arrested Raghavendrasa Parashuramsa Kabadi, 42, the studio owner and photographer. Police seized his computer, camera, printer, and other equipment allegedly used to forge government documents.

Superintendent of Police Rohan Jagadish said that preliminary findings indicate Kabadi had been producing fake Aadhaar cards, driving licences, and other government identity cards. Authorities are now investigating who collaborated with him and identifying individuals who obtained forged documents through the illegal operation.

The probe is ongoing, and more arrests may follow as the network behind the document fraud is traced.
