Gachibowli Police Arrest 3 in 60-Laptop Theft

The Gachibowli Police have apprehended three individuals in connection with the theft of 60 laptops from the C.R. Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (AIMSCS) at the University of Hyderabad. The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday night, and a case was registered on Monday, February 16, under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The accused have been identified as:

Regula Chandra Shekar, 30, resident of Kukatpally and native of Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh

Sai Charan, 19, a student

Ashwin Rao, 19, a student

Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are working to recover the stolen laptops. The police have stated that appropriate legal action will be taken under the BNS provisions.
