Jeedimetla police arrested G. Sridhar and Pradeep Prasad on July 26 for duping citizens by issuing fake housing allotment letters under the Telangana Government’s Double Bedroom Housing Scheme.
The accused posed as political insiders promising housing allotments to several victims. Police seized numerous fake allotment letters, a car, laptop, desktop, webcam, printer, scanner, and two mobile phones during the raid in the Suchitra area.
Both accused are currently in police custody and will be produced before court as investigations continue.
