New Windsor — Law enforcement agencies in the Mid-Hudson Valley have arrested a fugitive following an investigation into a residential burglary reported in New Windsor last month.

Authorities identified the suspect as Itan Beltran, 26, of Flushing. Investigators say Beltran is also wanted by authorities in Massachusetts in connection with a burglary case in Sharon.

Beltran was charged in Orange County for his alleged role in a Feb. 5 burglary in New Windsor. He now faces two counts of burglary and has been committed to the Orange County Jail as a fugitive from justice.

**Daniel Valeri, chief of the New Windsor Police Department, said the arrest followed a joint investigation involving local, state, and federal authorities.

“We will continue to aggressively pursue those who target the Town of New Windsor and ensure they are brought to justice,” Valeri said.
