March 14, 2025 – Fresno Police have successfully dismantled a large-scale auto theft operation, recovering over $3 million worth of stolen high-performance vehicles. The investigation, led by the Fresno Police Department’s Career Criminal Auto Theft Team (CCATT), uncovered more than 75 stolen cars, including Dodge Chargers, Challengers, Durangos, Infinitis, Jeep Trackhawks, and Chevrolet Camaros.
The operation led to the identification of two chop shops: one in Huntington Park, CA, and another in Fresno. So far, seven arrests have been made, with a total of 110 felony charges, including stolen vehicle possession, conspiracy, and illegal firearms possession. Authorities also recovered ten firearms, including short-barrel rifles.
While many stolen vehicles and parts have been returned, two suspects remain on the run. Julian Calderon, 20, faces charges related to stolen vehicles, stolen property possession, and assault weapon distribution. Jordan Rios, 22, is wanted for possessing and manufacturing assault weapons.
Several law enforcement agencies have assisted in the investigation, including the Clovis Police Department, Madera Police Department SIU, Fresno HEAT, the California Department of Corrections, and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office.
