Flowery Branch, GA – Fredy Nava Espinoza, 36, was arrested Sunday at his residence on serious allegations of child molestation, according to a release from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities began investigating Espinoza in May after a relative of the juvenile female victim contacted law enforcement to report suspected abuse.
Detectives say Espinoza allegedly sexually assaulted the victim, who was under 16 at the time, on multiple occasions between February 2020 and January 2022. Investigators confirmed that Espinoza and the victim were known to each other.
Espinoza has been charged with one felony count of aggravated child molestation and is currently being held without bond in the Hall County Jail as of Tuesday afternoon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
