FREDERICKSBURG, Texas — A recent investigation into a string of thefts and burglaries in Fredericksburg led to the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of a significant amount of stolen property.
The investigation, which began on February 10, 2025, identified John Greenway, 56, and Paula Hastings, 48, as the prime suspects in the case. The breakthrough came when authorities executed a search warrant, which uncovered several stolen items linked to the pair.
Following up with another search warrant, the Criminal Investigations Division, in collaboration with the Patrol Division, was able to return a large portion of the stolen property to its rightful owners.
Both Greenway and Hastings have been arrested on multiple charges and are currently being held in the Gillespie County Jail.
