Frederick Omare Miller Arrested in Lynchburg Armed Robbery

Lynchburg man charged after robbing Bistro Brother Restaurant

Frederick Omare Miller, 38, has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a Lynchburg restaurant on Thursday, December 12.

According to the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD), Miller was arrested at his home in the 1100 block of Lindsay Street Thursday afternoon without incident. He now faces multiple charges, including:

Firearm Possession by a Felon
Firearm Use in Commission of a Felony
Robbery Using a Firearm
Miller is currently being held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.

The robbery took place at the Bistro Brother Restaurant and Entertainment, located in the 6100 block of Fort Avenue, just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday. Police stated that the suspect, initially a customer at the restaurant, returned later and demanded money at gunpoint.

While the exact amount stolen during the robbery has not been disclosed, authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
