COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) — A man previously indicted for manslaughter is now back in jail after being arrested on new theft charges.

Frederic Rider, who was out on bond while facing charges for causing a fatal wreck in Muscle Shoals, had his bond revoked after allegedly stealing a motorized shopping cart from a local Walmart.

According to court records, Rider was apprehended for the theft while still awaiting trial for the earlier manslaughter case. Following this second arrest, a judge ordered him held without bond.

Rider is currently being held at the Colbert County Jail. No court date has been announced for the new charges.
