HENDERSON, KY – The Henderson Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a stolen vehicle following a routine patrol in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police say officers were patrolling near Green and 2nd Street when they ran the license plate of a vehicle matching the description of one reported stolen the previous day.
After confirming the vehicle was stolen, officers initiated a traffic stop and took the driver—identified as Freddie Nash—into custody without incident. Authorities confirmed that the stolen car was returned to its rightful owner.
Nash was transported to the Henderson County Detention Center and now faces the following charges:
Receiving Stolen Property
Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License
Police have not released additional details regarding how Nash came into possession of the stolen vehicle. The investigation remains ongoing.
