A Baltimore man, 54-year-old Freddie Curry, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute over 400 grams of fentanyl and 500 grams of cocaine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland announced.
The investigation, launched in May 2024 by the FBI and DEA, targeted Curry’s alleged involvement in drug trafficking across Baltimore.
Federal agents executed search warrants on Curry’s residence and vehicle, recovering approximately 980 grams of fentanyl, 1,040 grams of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, and a Glock 19 9mm handgun.
Due to prior felony convictions, Curry was prohibited from firearm possession.
Under a plea agreement, Curry faces a sentence of 120 months (10 years) in federal prison, with sentencing scheduled for June 30, 2025.
