Springfield, MO — A Springfield man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a local car wash on November 5, 2025.
Police identified Frank Fellers, 42, as the suspect in the incident at Patriot Auto and Dog Wash. Fellers faces charges of second-degree burglary, stealing $750 or more, and first-degree property damage.
According to authorities, Fellers allegedly damaged and stole two dog washing machines, with the total loss estimated at $8,672 for the machines and $400 cash from each. Surveillance footage showed Fellers using a screwdriver to force open money compartments and removing the cash.
The suspect reportedly arrived in a silver Chevrolet Trailblazer towing a U-Haul trailer, which was later seen in the stolen vehicle report. He was arrested on January 8 during a traffic stop and is currently held in Greene County Jail with a $25,000 bond. Fellers has a criminal history spanning eight cases in Greene, Christian, and Newton counties.
During questioning, Fellers invoked his right to remain silent, declining to answer police questions.
