Four Drug Smugglers Arrested in Major Heroin Seizure in Ali Ke Village

Four arrested, 4.255 kg heroin and Rs1.97 lakh seized by CIA sleuths.

In a significant breakthrough, the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) has arrested four individuals involved in a drug smuggling operation. The arrests were made near Ali Ke village, where authorities seized 4.255 kg of heroin and Rs1.97 lakh in drug money.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Swarn Singh (20) of Kamalewala village, Gurwant Singh (30) of Mastewala village, Sandeep Singh (23) of Hajara Ram Singh Wala in Jalalabad, and Manpreet Singh (27), also known as Money, from Nurpur village in Zira Sadar. The operation was carried out based on intelligence reports indicating their involvement in trafficking illicit drugs.

The seizure of such a large quantity of heroin is a significant blow to the smuggling network operating in the region. The police have begun their investigation to trace further links and dismantle the larger drug trafficking operation.
