Four Arrested in York After Drugs, Weapons, and Child Found

Arrests made after meth, weapons, and a child were discovered in York home

YORK, Neb. (KOLN) – Four individuals were arrested Monday evening after drugs, weapons, and a child were discovered inside a home in York.

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, deputies, along with local police officers, executed a search warrant at a residence on South Hutchins Avenue near West Nobes Road just before 11:30 p.m. During the search, law enforcement found methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medication, several knives, and drug paraphernalia. A child was also found sleeping inside the home.

Authorities promptly removed the child from the home and placed them in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

The individuals arrested in connection with the investigation include 33-year-old Ashley Bogenhagen, 34-year-old Bobbi Jo Potter, 38-year-old Darrell Potter Jr., all from York, and 43-year-old Benjamin Walker from Juniata. They face charges related to drug possession and child abuse.
