Four Arrested in Rs1.7 Crore Burglary Bust 3 Still at Large

Narayanguda Police Recover Gold, Cash, Luxury Watches

In a joint operation on Monday, June 16, the Narayanguda police and the East Zone Task Force arrested four members of a burglary gang near Kummarwadi, Asifnagar. The police seized a massive haul including 158 tolas of gold jewellery, Rs10.75 lakh in cash, and eight luxury watches, collectively valued at around Rs1.7 crore.

The arrested suspects are identified as Chaupal Sagar Kumar (22), Akash Kumar Mandal (19), Saqlain Khan (19), and Chandra Shekar Chaupal (49). They were apprehended while allegedly preparing to flee the city.

Authorities confirmed that three other accused—Ashish, Ashwini Rachu, and Shalini Rachu—remain at large, with police actively searching for them.

The police continue to investigate the case to uncover the full extent of the gang’s activities and recover any additional stolen property.
