Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of four individuals after a search warrant was executed in the Eagle Springs area on April 2. Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office carried out the search at a residence located on Fry Place in Eagle Springs, seizing suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and various items related to drug and marijuana use.
Esmeralda Sanchez, 36, of Robbins, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including trafficking methamphetamine by possession and transport, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sanchez was booked into the Moore County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond and is scheduled for a district court appearance on April 24.
Conrad Morfin Jr., 56, of Asheboro, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody at the Moore County Detention Center under a 48-hour hold with no bond, with his district court hearing also set for April 24.
Reno Ramchand, 44, of Eagle Springs, faces charges for simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and reconnecting utility connections without authorization. Ramchand is also under a 48-hour hold at the detention center, with a district court date on April 24.
Crystal Edmonds, 42, of Eagle Springs, was arrested for simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. She was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond, with her court date also scheduled for April 24.
The arrests highlight continued efforts by local authorities to combat drug trafficking and distribution in the area.
