Four Arrested in Florence Credit Card Fraud Case

Suspects charged with theft and fraudulent credit card use

FLORENCE, Ala. — The Florence Police Department announced the arrest of four individuals connected to a credit card fraud case.

On September 5, 2023, a local business reported that its business credit card had been stolen and used to purchase over $50,000 worth of merchandise at various local stores.

Detectives identified Amber McCrary, Nicholas Lenz, Kathryn Crawford, and Kayla Davenport as suspects in the case. All four were arrested and charged with first-degree theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Authorities also noted that other individuals involved in the scam had been arrested earlier on related charges. The investigation is ongoing.
