In a remarkable breakthrough, the Panchkula Police arrested four individuals in connection with three separate theft cases, all solved within a single day.
The first case involved a theft that occurred in September 2024 when KPS Sandhu, a Sector-12 resident, returned home from New Delhi to find his television and gas cylinder missing. Acting on a tip-off, the Crime Branch Sector-19 team tracked down and arrested Sunny Kumar, a resident of Faridkot, Punjab, in Phase-1, Sector-19, Panchkula. Kumar was placed in a two-day police remand for further questioning.
The second case was reported by Dheeraj, an employee at the Imagine Apple Store in Sector-11, who noticed that his Apple Watch had gone missing on January 21. Within the same day, police arrested two suspects, Sonu Khan and Tarun Saini, both residents of Ramgarh. With the assistance of Head Constable Kuldeep, the suspects were caught and later sent to judicial custody.
The third case involved the theft of a battery rickshaw, which was parked in Sector-5 on January 14. The victim, Amit, a resident of Sector-4, had reported the theft to the police.
