BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — Four individuals were arrested this week in connection with the theft of items from Bexar County Sheriff’s Office vehicles, authorities reported.
Lorenzo Deleon, Michael A. Garcia, Vincent “Koko” Limon, and Jennifer Pena-Soledad face charges of theft ($2,500–$30,000) and engaging in organized criminal activity, according to jail records and an arrest affidavit.
The investigation began around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when deputies responded to a reported vehicle burglary at Bexar County Fleet Maintenance on Interstate 35 North. Seven vehicles were burglarized, and laptops, keyboards, and a laptop bracket were stolen.
Police learned a San Antonio officer encountered a male in possession of items that were reportedly stolen from a sheriff’s vehicle. The male said he obtained the items from a table at Garcia’s residence. Deputies recovered a computer bracket and keyboard from the home, and a search warrant confirmed the items belonged to the sheriff’s office.
Garcia admitted to taking a laptop, laptop brackets, and an orange Echo backpack leaf blower, stating that Limon and Pena-Soledad accompanied him during the burglary. Investigators also linked a vehicle seen at Garcia’s home to Deleon, who admitted picking up Garcia and attempting to sell the stolen items together.
A search warrant executed at a residence on the 200 block of Linda Lou Drive recovered the leaf blower. Investigators determined that Pena-Soledad and Limon participated in the theft after reviewing statements and inconsistencies in their accounts.
Pena-Soledad and Limon were released on bond, while all four suspects remain under investigation.
