Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan, addressing media at Echoda police station on Tuesday, confirmed the arrest of four individuals from the same village: Chakati Sonerao, Durva Lavakush, Arka Janjubapu, and Durva Arun.

The SP noted that each cannabis plant is worth roughly Rs. 10,000 in the open market. Following the seizure, four separate cases have been registered against the accused.
