The Ullal police have arrested four individuals for robbing a trader near the Kallapu Global Market area.

The suspects—Siddique (25), Rizwan (20), Azharuddin (26), and Mohammed Naufal (28)—are residents of Bantwal, Maripalla, Farangipete, and Pane Mangalore, respectively.

On March 17, the gang allegedly intercepted Majeed, a vegetable trader from Belagavi, using an unregistered vehicle near Kallapu. They stole Rs 2 lakh from him before fleeing the scene.

After an investigation, the police successfully arrested the accused and recovered the stolen cash along with the Swift car used in the robbery. The police are continuing their investigation into the crime.
