Saratoga Springs, NY — A former Warren County correction officer, Stephen Frank, has been sentenced to 8 to 25 years in prison for multiple domestic violence convictions, announced Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen.

The 47-year-old Lake George resident was found guilty in January 2025 on a series of charges, including:

3 counts of Aggravated Criminal Contempt (Class “D” felonies)

4 counts of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (Class “E” felonies)

2 counts of Assault in the Third Degree (Class “A” misdemeanors)

The charges stemmed from Frank’s repeated violations of a protection order and physical abuse that left lasting effects on the victim’s mental and physical health. The victim, who was known to Frank, testified during the trial, along with other witnesses. The abuse also impacted two minor children.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Jennifer Pratt and Joseph Frandino, with investigative support from Saratoga County DA Investigator Jack Barney. The sentencing occurred on May 2, 2025.
