Former Wagoner Councilor Steven Rhoden Arrested for Child Abuse

Ex-Oklahoma official faces multiple charges, including solicitation

WAGONER, Okla. – A former Wagoner City Council member has been arrested on child sexual abuse charges, according to a news release from the City of Wagoner.

Authorities confirmed that Steven Rhoden was booked into the Wagoner County Jail on Friday afternoon. Court records indicate he faces four charges, including child sex abuse and soliciting child prostitution.

According to legal documents, the alleged crimes took place between November 2023 and February 2024.

Rhoden’s LinkedIn profile shows that he previously worked for a local school district and even spent time working at a preschool.
