Florence Man Arrested for Stealing Tow Truck in Rankin County

Edmond Teasley faces charges of burglary and vehicle theft

Florence Man Arrested for Stealing Tow Truck in Rankin County

FLORENCE, Miss. – A Florence man, Edmond Larry Teasley Jr., 44, was arrested in Rankin County after stealing a tow truck from a local business.

Rankin County deputies responded to a call early on Tuesday, December 3, around 6:00 a.m., reporting a burglary and the theft of a tow truck. Investigators quickly gathered evidence linking Teasley to the crime, revealing that he had broken into the business and taken the $75,000 tow truck.

Teasley was apprehended later that morning at approximately 9:45 a.m. He now faces charges of commercial burglary and motor vehicle theft. Teasley is currently being held without bond at the Rankin County Detention Center.
