In a significant drug bust in Jaipur on Wednesday, five foreign nationals, including three women, were arrested after being found in possession of 47 grams of cocaine. The police acted on a tip-off and raided a flat in the Ramnagaria police station area, where the accused were detained.

The arrested individuals were identified as Emanuel and Antonia from Tanzania, Mohammad from Egypt, and Pauline and Priscilla from Kenya. The group had been residing in a rented flat and was reportedly involved in the supply of drugs in small packets to roadside vendors and college areas, a common tactic used to distribute narcotics.

According to the police, the accused were using their rented accommodation as a base to engage in drug trafficking. The authorities have seized the 47 grams of cocaine, and the accused are being questioned to uncover more details about their operations and possible connections to larger drug networks.

This arrest highlights the ongoing issue of international drug trafficking operations targeting local markets, especially around educational institutions. The police have intensified their efforts to crack down on such illegal activities in the city.
