Carthage, NC — Five individuals from Carthage have been arrested following a drug raid on Wednesday, during which authorities seized multiple illegal substances and drug paraphernalia.
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced that detectives executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 3400 block of Old River Road. During the search, investigators recovered suspected methamphetamine, buprenorphine and naloxone (Suboxone), buprenorphine hydrochloride (Subutex), marijuana paraphernalia, and additional drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were arrested and charged:
Donald English, 41, faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. His secured bond was set at $15,000.
April Talbert, 39, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Her secured bond was also set at $15,000.
Tabitha Wilder, 40, is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $20,000 secured bond.
Johnny Walden, 38, faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed on a 48-hour hold under HB813, which went into effect on October 1, 2023.
Allan Ritter Jr., 31, was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia and had a secured bond set at $1,000.
All five suspects are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on February 6.
