PAMLICO COUNTY, N.C. — A multi-agency narcotics investigation led to five arrests and the seizure of significant drugs and firearms in Pamlico County.
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office and Neuse River Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a Florence Road residence. The task force includes members from Carteret, Craven, and Pamlico counties, along with the North Carolina SBI, New Bern Police, FBI Task Force, and NC Alcohol Law Enforcement.
Officials report the search uncovered:
128 grams of crack cocaine
36 grams of cocaine
4 grams of marijuana
Multiple firearms, including two handguns, four rifles, and a shotgun
Drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency
The following individuals were arrested and charged:
Cedric Bernard Dunham, 48, Bayboro — $500,000 secured bond
Two counts trafficking cocaine
Felony possession of firearm by a felon
Maintaining a dwelling for drug sales
