Five Arrested in Madikeri Photo Studio Theft Case

Police recover stolen printer and equipment from gang

The Madikeri police have arrested five men in connection with a theft that occurred at a photo studio on Kohinoor Road. The incident took place on the night of September 27, when a group of masked individuals allegedly broke into the studio owned by Abdul Rehman and stole valuable equipment.

According to the police, the thieves damaged the shutters of the studio and escaped with items including a colour printer and essential cables. A case was promptly registered at Madikeri Police Station after Abdul Rehman lodged a complaint.

Following an investigation, police successfully identified and apprehended the accused. The arrested individuals are:

Mohammed Suhel (24) of Bethu village

Mohammed Mubashir (20) of Hodavada village

Mohammed Jainuddin (20) of Kunjila village

Muzamil (20) of Kolakeri village

Fayaz (25) of Bethu village

The accused were taken to the crime scene on Friday for evidence recovery and later produced before a local judge. All five have been remanded to judicial custody.

The police also recovered the stolen colour printer and connecting cables from the group.
