Five Arrested in Gays Mills Drug Bust, Child Found Inside

Authorities uncover drugs, child neglect in home raid

GAYS MILLS, Wis. (WEAU) — Five people were arrested and a child was rescued after a drug bust in the Village of Gays Mills on Friday evening.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on the 100 block of Main Street. Inside the home, deputies found five adults and one child. The child was safely removed, and the adults were detained during the search.

The individuals taken into custody include:

Nicholas Cullen, 38, of Boscobel

Ariel Tiderman, 25, of Gays Mills

Douglas Smith, 45, of Gays Mills

Jourdan Womack, 29, of DeSoto

Chad Munson, 43, of DeSoto

Randell Strametz, 33, of Gays Mills

Richard Wickard, 76, of Gays Mills

Authorities discovered illegal drugs in the home, including methamphetamine. The Sheriff’s Office is recommending several charges, including possession of illicit drugs, delivery of methamphetamine, and maintaining a drug trafficking place.

In addition, Nicholas Cullen is facing a child neglect charge due to the presence of a minor in the drug environment.

The case remains under investigation, and further charges may be filed.
