BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – Police arrested five people during a drug investigation at a home in the 600 block of West Sandusky Avenue, Bellefontaine authorities said.

Officers from the Bellefontaine Police Department and deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the residence. When no one answered, police forced entry and ordered the occupants out.

Those detained included Randall Lourance, 40; Christian Irving, 39; and Quinten Turner, 33. Sierra Johnston, 37, was found hiding under a bed. April Cole, 44, resisted officers before being taken into custody.

During the search, a small amount of suspected methamphetamine was found in Cole’s backpack. Additional drugs and drug paraphernalia were located throughout the home.

Cole, Irving, and Johnston were charged with drug possession. Turner was arrested on an outstanding Union County warrant, and Lourance was taken into custody for a parole violation. All five were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
